About Us
The Ministry of Minority Affairs was carved out of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and created on 29th January, 2006 to ensure a more focused approach towards issues relating to the notified minority communities namely Muslim, Christian, Budhist, Sikhs, Parsis and Jain. The mandate of the Ministry includes formulation of overall policy and planning, coordination, evaluation and review of the regulatory framework and development programmes for the benefit of the minority communities.
I have not get my fellowship still six month. My award letter no is F1-17.1/2014-15/MANF-2014-15-JAI-WES-35533. I wa submitted all necessary documents to the bank. Kindly let me know what actually is going on. Really lots of scholars are facing so much difficulty for this issue. Please kindly resolve this problem as soon as possible.
I am Mr. Noor Nawaz A S, pursuing Ph.D in the Department of Agricultural Microbiology. My date of joining to the Ph.D is 27.07.2013. I am the beneficiary of Maulana Azad National Fellowship for minority students during the financial year 2015-16 and my fellowship ID as generated by UGC is F117.1/2016-17/MANF/-2015-17-KAR-64531/(SAIII/Website).
And I had applied of Maulana Azad National Fellowship during the year 2015-16 on 30.06.2015. In the meanwhile I have selected for the above fellowship vide Sl. No. 263 in the selection list. However, in accordance with as above order, the UGC, New Delhi has generated/ selected my name taking for fellowship through the Canara Bank, and mentioned as the applicant is eligible for above fellowship for minority (UGC, New Delhi) for the period from 01.04.2015 to 31.03.2017.
I would like to bring to your kind notice that, the UGC, New Delhi has announced again one order copy for award of Maulana Azad National Fellowship for the year 2016-17 which is tenable for five years. This is with effective from 01.04.2016 which will affect me for mom-availing one year fellowship. Hence, there is a slight mistake/discrepancy occurred from UGC, New Delhi. Moreover, SC/Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship candidates selected for 2016 are getting fellowship with effective from April,2015 itself, although most of them have registered in 2016-17.
Lastly, I hail from a poor family and during my entire academic year from 2013-14 to 2017-18 I have been facing so many financial crunches. I had traveled extensively to various districts of Karnataka on my own expenses for sample collection and to carry out laboratory work required to accomplish my research. Under the above circumstances and on humanitarian grounds kindly consider my request and award the same for the year 2015-16 which will be very much helpful to continue my research work/study of the my Ph.D in Agricultural Microbiology. I have been registered for a Ph.D program during the year 2013-14 at UAS, Dharwad, Karnataka and my registration date is 27.07.2013.
Moreover, I have applied for of Maulana Azad National Fellowship during 2014-15 and 2015-16, although my Ph.D degree commences from the academic year 2013. I have been selected from 2016-17 and the commencement of fellowship has notified as with effective from 01.04.2016. Hence, there is an injustice happened to me. This is need to address which, will really highlight the justice made to the needy fellows who are facing financial plight and socially disadvantaged.
Till so far I have not been responded from any of the authorities. Hoping this will make some positive response.
I am a head of a private School. By mistake we have submitted pre-matric scholarship in another school code. Please suggest what can we do.
I have not received my scholarship amount yet. It is scholarship related to my previous year. My parents do not afford to pay my fees for the current year.
