Shipping Policy

Shipping within India :
We ship orders within 2 working days of receiving them. Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders received on Sunday or holidays are dispatched the following Monday or the next working day.

Some exceptions:
** In case you’ve ordered more than 5 pieces of the same product OR if the item ordered is marked under pre-order or in production, it may take longer to process your order.
** During busy periods such as holidays or unforeseen circumstances, there may be a delay in processing your order.
** For items not in stock, it could take 2-6 weeks for the item to be dispatched.
In all of these cases, we will keep you informed via email or call.

International Shipping :
We ship to most countries outside India, particularly in the USA, Europe, Singapore, and the Middle East.
** For international shipments, the shipping and delivery costs are to be borne by the customer. There may be handling charges as well, since our products must go through airport clearance in India.
** Owing to numerous variables including prerequisites of each country and the import clearance documents provided by the customer, we are unable to estimate the time of delivery of products for international shipments.

Alternatively, customers residing in the American subcontinent (Canada, USA, and Mexico) and UAE can place the order for shumee products via Amazon.com and Amazon.ae

Cancellation Policy

In case you want to cancel an order, please email care@shumee.in or call us on +91 9148581222 within 24 hours of placing the order or before the order is shipped out. If you place a cancellation request after 24 hours of ordering the product, we will be unable to recall it and we will not be able to refund it too. Incase for some unavoidable reason you need to return it – the shipping charges will need to be borne by the customer.

shumee toys reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case an incorrect price is listed or for any other reason. In such a situation, we will update you via email or call and refund 100% of any payment you may have made.

If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a wrong or incomplete name/address provided by the customer, non-availability of a recipient at the time of delivery, or related reasons on the customer’s side, any extra costs incurred by us for re-delivery will be claimed from the customer.

Returns Policy

We do not accept return requests due to the nature of materials and the usage of the products – we would like our customers to be ensured of the hygiene of the product as these are for little kids and hence do not take any products back unless there is a transit damage. Books are also not returnable. Return requests for transit damages placed after 24 hours of receiving are unfortunately non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

If the product is damaged
In case you receive a damaged product, please send us an email with the photo of the product received and the Order ID to care@shumee.in within 24 hours of receiving the product. We can offer you replacement, or refund.

** If you choose to get a replacement, we will pick up and replace the product free of cost.
** If you choose to get a refund instead of a replacement for a defective/damaged product, it will be credited to your original method of payment within 7 working days.

Our products are designed to be sturdy and crafted with care. However, they may break or suffer damages if handled roughly. If the product gets damaged after use we will not be able to accept a return or offer a refund.

Please note that we reserve the right to reject return requests from customers in case of frequent returns from them (> 3 returns in a financial year). Some pin codes are also not feasible for a reverse pickup, in which case we will need to ask you to ship it back to us. We do not offer reverse pickups outside India.

How long does it take to ship and deliver the toy?
We endeavor to ship ordered products typically within 1 working days of order placement and confirmation. Upon successful shipment of an order, we will send you the details of the consignment to allow you to check the status of your order. The typical delivery date shall be within 3 days of shipping and in some cases 5-7 days (Please see shipping and returns policy for details)

How can I track my order?
In most cases your order will be delivered within 3 or at most 5-7 days from shipping. In some cases, if there is an exigency, we will proactively call/email you and let you know. In the rare case that you do not hear from us, please email us at contact[AT]shumee.in

What is Shumee’s return policy?
If you receive a damaged / defective Product or a Product that does not comply with the specifications as per your original order, please get in touch with the customer service. email us at care[AT]shumee.in to register the reason for returning your order within 48 hours of accepting delivery of such order. Upon verifying the authenticity of your claim, we will determine if your order may be returned. If your order is eligible for returns then please follow the instructions for order return.
