Customer Service
** Tata Main Hospital is a patient centric organisation and places due importance to customer relations.
** To complement the customer care and to be true to its motto “Customer First”, the hospital ensures that customer complaints are addressed promptly and customer satisfaction is measured through routine customer feedback.
** The hospital has a formal procedure for grievance redressal/or complaints. Clear information on complaint book availability is displayed across the hospital.
** The customers can avail these complaint books on demand that are kept in the nursing stations in wards and at the helpdesk in the OPD.
** The valued opinion of patients and their relatives is taken through weekly customer survey that is administered by the customer focus group and doctors.
** Periodic third party surveys are done by Rotary Interact Club members.
** The survey results are collated and analyzed regularly and the feedback serves as the basis for improvement in various areas.
** Keeping in mind that the majority of the patients are employees of Tata Steel, there is an online service helpdesk for TMH on Tata Steel intranet that allows customers to enter complaints, concerns, query and suggestion.
** A Patient satisfaction survey conducted by A.C Nielsen (ORG Marg) shows that the overall satisfaction index or eQ index has increased from 79 in the first survey in March 2007 to 84 in the second Phase in February 2008.
** Access to non-employees is available on the hospital website in the feedback section

Visiting Hours
** Two visitor passes are provided from admission counter at the time of admission ( Yellow and Red).
** Visiting hours are 17:00 Hrs to 19:00 Hrs. with Yellow Pass
** The 24-hour Attendant Pass( Red) is issued at the time of admission from admission counter in emergency wing.
** This is not valid between 9:00 Hrs to 12:00 Hrs during rounds, specially male attendants in female ward and vice versa.
About Us
Tata Main Hospital, the Medical Division of Tata Steel and its nine dispensaries at Jamshedpur provide curative healthcare services to the employees of Tata Steel and their families free of cost.
Apart from TMH and the dispensaries, out-location hospitals are located at Jamadoba, Noamundi and Sukhinda Mines and West Bokaro Collieries. TMH also extends its facilities to non-entitled patients from Jamshedpur and its surrounding area.

Very bad experience of customer service of baby vaccination number. No body give response to the number, they pick the phone but as soon as they listen to the question they cut the phone no reply from vaccination room. How will I get the clarity of my child vaccination.
I have admitted my wife on 6th Feb 2021 at labour room for delivery after delivery I have got only bill paper . discharge cell take signature of my wife on discharge register. My wife forgot to take the discharge paper . in this time I am requesting duplicate discharge paper but RMO misbehaving with me and I am facing problem to vaccinate my child without this paper..and they are not helping .behaving rudaly what a tragedy!

Completely agreed with above mentioned comments. What is the way to get the appointment/talk to doctor. None of the phone numbers are working. If you really value to Human Being then I am sure you will resolve these issues on a priority.
Worst Service ever. I don't know what the nurses and staffs think of themselves their they are afraid of touching the patient as if while being in contact with the patient they too will have that sickness They don't take the to the washroom patient himself has to do all his work then why he has been admitted their isse achi service log Ghar pe dete h.
Without any reason they keep the patient in order to have money and will give you thousand of reasons for keeping the patient
I would like to inform you that we are having very very bad experiences with your hospital, one of our relative suffered from heart attack on 11/08/2018 at around 8 PM and we took him to emergency ward at your hospital but your Hospital refused to admit him saying that currently no cardiologist are available, I am shocked to know that TMH will give such answer, where is your professionalism? how can you leave a such a critical patient like that without giving required First AID/CPR. Please assist me to know your seniors management number in order to communicate further for such issues, as am Not happy with such behaviors.
Treatment is good but my personal view is like ward attendant behavior to the patient or his relatives is not up to the mark. So work on it. Not satisfied.
I would like to inform you that my wife Mrs. Sandhya Kumari was admitted on 16/08/15 due to A/H/O RTA ON 16/08/15 SUSTAINING INJURIES TO LT WRIST MR NO.--MR/15/075944 PATIENT NO.--IP/15/040129 General category.
I am facing some problem regarding after treatment related issue like the system procedure which is discussed below:--
Doctor is advised to check up after discharging date 19/08/15 and prescribed today for doing X-RAY again due the current position. After doing all the formalities I am not getting the valid documents like either x-ray film copy or x-ray film xerox copy. As discussed with x-ray technician, he suggested that no x-ray film will be provided and we have to purchase the cds where the soft copy will be provided though we have already cleared all the dues also he is not ready to give the same now which i need on an urgent basis.
I want to know why should we get harassed including patient also after fulfilling all the necessary conditions.
Please help to resolve this issue AEAP.
